Private Events

Making stained glass art with your friends, family, or staff can be an exciting and meaningful way to celebrate a birthday, commemorate a milestone, or build a strong team.

There are many ways to customize your stained glass experience:

Half Day: Bethany prepares pre-cut pieces and participants solder their own creation to take home.

  • Great for birthday or bachelor/ette parties
  • 3-4 hours
  • Up to 6 participants
  • $125-150 per person

Full Day: Participants learn the stained glass process from start to finish and make their own creation to take home.

  • Great for a creative group or workplace wellness/retreat activity
  • 6-8 hours
  • Up to 6 participants
  • $250-300 per person

Collaborative Experience: A mix between a commission and a private event. Bethany designs a custom project and participants collaborate in its creation by either cutting or soldering pieces for the project.

  • Great for a home, workplace, community center, or a nonprofit looking to raise funds through auctioning the finished piece.
  • 3-8 hours. Participants can attend for a half day or come and go throughout a full day.
  • Number of participants varies—can accommodate up to 20-30 people.
  • Price for the commission, plus $500-750 for the collaborative experience.

*Please note: I require a 25% non-refundable deposit for Half Day and Full Day events and a 50% non-refundable deposit for the collaborative experience (including the price of the commission).

I provide all the equipment and materials and I usually host private events in Hood River, Oregon. However, I am happy to come to your home, workplace, or retreat site. As long as there is access to a few outlets and ventilation (i.e., open windows or an outside space), I can practically teach anywhere!

*Please note: Reasonable travel-related costs may be included for events outside of Hood River.

What to expect

Once you submit your request, I will review it and get back to you via email within 5 business days. Please check your junk/spam folder!

We will then discuss the logistics: date, time, and price, as well as what students want to make. I will provide you with a quote for what I expect the price to be.

I typically need at least 3-4 weeks of lead time to schedule and prepare for a private event.
